When visiting Brazil for the Carnival remember when the fun is over there is still so much to see in Brazil and Argentina. Cities to Visit

Beach lovers and surfing fanatics would do well to consider checking into a Buzios hotel. With over 20 beaches ranging from family friendly to surfing radicals, there is a beach to suit everyone. The main street has plenty of restaurants, bars and nightclubs for a fun evening out.

Paraty sits on Brazil’s green coast and has become a very popular tourist destination. Located on the Ilha Grande Bay there are several islands to visit as well as rainforests and mountains. Surrounding Paraty are the Serra da Bocaina National Park, the Park Reserve of Joatinga, Serra do Mar State Park and Cairucu Environmental Protection Area.

Another exciting place to visit is Angra dos Reis located south of Rio de Janeiro. This area is best known for its beaches and over 300 islands, some privately owned by world famous celebrities. You can plan on visiting one of the many exciting cities around Rio de Janeiro either before or after the Carnival.
