Please note that payments made via Western Union, bank deposit, or wire transfer may take up to 7 business days to be confirmed, approved, and processed. For credit card payments, transaction approval and confirmation are subject to the credit card company and the customer's banking institution.

- 100% refundable tickets: If you request a cancellation before November 30th, 2023, we will refund 100% of the ticket value. Please note that the handling fee charged per ticket is non-refundable.
- Cancellation process: To request a cancellation, simply send an email to [email protected] in English, Spanish, or Portuguese before November 30th, 2023, at midnight. Our dedicated call center will respond to all cancellation requests within 3 business days.
- Non-refundable tickets: After November 30th, 2023, all tickets are non-refundable, regardless of the reason.
- Refund processing time: Once your cancellation request is received, we will process the refund within 30 to 90 days.
Event Postponement or Cancellation due to Covid-19 - Flexibility in Uncertain Times

In case the Rio Carnival event is postponed or canceled due to Covid-19, Bookers International is committed to providing flexibility and options to our customers. Here are the details:
Postponement: If the Rio Carnival event is postponed to a later date, your ticket will be automatically valid for the rescheduled event. You will have the option to attend the Carnival on the new dates without any additional charges or action required on your part.
Cancellation: If the Rio Carnival event is canceled, you will be eligible for a refund. We will process a full refund of the ticket value, including any handling fees charged, within 30 to 90 days of the cancellation announcement.
Please note that refunds for event cancellations due to Covid-19 will be subject to the specific terms and conditions set by the event organizers, as well as any applicable regulations or policies put in place by local authorities or government bodies.

Price Range, Promotions, Outlet Sales, and Last-Minute Sales - What You Need to Know
- Prices for all products may vary up or down as part of special online promotions or as a result of fluctuating exchange rates.
- Ticket packages may be offered at a lower price at Bookers International's discretion as a result of negotiations and pre-purchases from suppliers.
- Refunds will not be given, partial or full, outside the cancellation and refund rules described above.
- No refunds will be given under any circumstances if online prices are lower than prices paid for a particular product or service.
Event Delay and Cancellation
Bookers International, as an authorized travel agency, is not responsible for any delays or cancellations of the event that are beyond our control. This includes but is not limited to adverse weather conditions such as rainfall, storms, floods, or congestion; strikes; accidents; fires; flight delays; avenue or access interruptions; airport closures; or similar events. Please note that the value of the packages and/or tickets will not be refunded in case of cancellation of participation of a samba school or even the cancellation of the event by authorities or by LIESA and LIERJ themselves. No refunds will be given under any circumstances if the client does not attend the event for the reasons mentioned above or for any other reasons.
Liability of Tickets
Our Rio Carnival tickets are not nominal. Once in your possession, delivered, or picked up, they are your sole responsibility. We will not replace tickets in the event of theft, loss, damage, or misplacement. Please note that no refunds will be given under any of these circumstances.
Children under 5 years old at the Sambadrome
According to the Rio de Janeiro justice system, children under 5 years old CANNOT enter the Sambadrome, even when accompanied by parents and/or legal guardians and holding tickets. Entrance to the event will not be allowed in any way. Please note that no refund will be given under any circumstances, for tickets or transfers, in case of the impossibility of using these tickets and accessing the event due to the mentioned reason.
Ticket availability may change at any time up to 14 days prior to the event. Therefore, we reserve the right to cancel any item of any purchase for up to 2 weeks prior to the ticket date. Although unlikely, in such cases, Bookers will offer upgrades free of charge or a full refund option for all such items. In the case of cancellation where the ticket cannot be upgraded or when it is not accepted by clients, Bookers will refund the purchase in full, in the same amount, currency, and payment method used at the time of purchase.
Bookers will only provide information and accept instructions on any changes to the email and telephone numbers associated with the account and/or registration on its websites.
Once your full payment is processed, Bookers will almost always automatically and immediately email you an electronic voucher (e-voucher), ensuring swift delivery upon receipt, confirmation, and processing. Customers must check the data and products on the voucher(s) upon receipt and, in case of discrepancy, contact our Call Center immediately through one of our channels: chat, email, phone, or WhatsApp.
- Vouchers must be exchanged for physical tickets once our Hospitality desk is open, a few days before the event dates.
- The exchange can be made free of charge at our Hospitality Desk, located in Copacabana, or can be delivered through our Special Delivery Service to an address in Rio de Janeiro, subject to a delivery charge.
- It is very important to schedule a time through your account on our website for the exchange/pickup of tickets at our Hospitality Desk.

At our Rio Carnival tickets company, we want to make your experience as smooth and secure as possible. Whether you prefer to collect your tickets in person at our Hospitality Desk or have them delivered to your location, we've got you covered! Below, you'll find all the essential information to ensure a hassle-free ticket purchase and pickup process:
Option 1: Ticket Pickup in Person
When picking up your tickets in person, please keep the following in mind:
Mandatory Documents - To ensure your security, the purchaser must present the following documents:
- Valid picture ID or passport with a photo and signature.
- If you made a credit card purchase, bring the original physical credit card used in the transaction, along with the confirmation number from your voucher.
- Please note that copies, photographs, scans, print screens, or any other formats will not be accepted. Only original documents are valid.
Credit Card Security - For verification purposes with credit card companies, we may photograph the requested documents, excluding the Card Security Code (CSC), if necessary.
Note: These requirements are in accordance with the best practices recommended by credit card companies, which are in place for security reasons and are therefore mandatory for receiving the tickets. We reserve the right to photograph the requested documents, while keeping the Card Security Code (CSC) private, for later verification of purchase with credit card companies, if necessary.
Option 2: Pick Up by a Third Party
If you are unable to pick up the tickets personally, you can authorize a third party to do so, if conditions are in compliance with Bookers International's terms and conditions. Here's what you need to do:
Inform in Advance - Please inform our agents in advance about the third party who will collect the tickets on your behalf.
Required Documents - Our agents will provide all the necessary information regarding mandatory documents that must be submitted and reviewed. Typically, a copy of the credit card and the credit card holder's photo ID or passport are required, along with a credit authorization form and a signed third-party authorization. These documents can be requested by emailing us at [email protected].
Note: Third-party pick-up is not allowed for certain tickets, including Luxury Suite, Folia Tropical, and Super Folia when purchased with credit cards or reversible payment methods.
Option 3: Special Delivery Service
For your convenience, we offer a special delivery service within Rio de Janeiro's tourist regions, including Barra da Tijuca, the South Zone, and Centro. Follow these guidelines for a smooth delivery process:
Delivery Fee - A delivery fee of US$30 per ticket, up to US$120 for orders of 4 or more tickets, will be charged.
Provide Exact Address and Schedule - During the checkout process on our website, make sure to provide the exact delivery address and schedule a suitable date and time for delivery.
Delivery Conditions - Please be present at the chosen address and within the scheduled time range to receive the tickets and sign the delivery receipt.
Remember to follow these instructions carefully to ensure the successful delivery of your tickets.
⚠️ Important Information
- Tickets will only be handed out to the credit card holder or a third party authorized in advance if conditions are in compliance with Bookers International's terms and conditions.
- We reserve the right to request additional documentation for proof of purchase, and failure to provide the requested documents may lead to purchase cancellation, at Bookers International's own discretion.
- Unanswered requests, whether by email, chat, or by any other means, or failure to follow delivery instructions may result in cancellation or reselling of purchased items, without refunds for undelivered tickets.
- If you have chosen ticket delivery, please note that the agent will wait for a maximum of 10 minutes after arriving at the address to obtain the buyer's signature. If the buyer or the designated individual fails to sign the receipt, or if there are any circumstances such as unavailability, absence at the address, lateness, refusal to sign, or an incorrect/unidentifiable address, the tickets will be returned to our Hospitality Desk at Copacabana. They will remain available for pickup until 12 noon on the day of the event. However, after 12 noon, we reserve the right to resell the tickets. Please be aware that no refunds will be issued for tickets that are not picked up for any reason.
If you require transfer services, we partner with Aliança Turismo to provide reliable transportation. Here's what you need to know:
- Transfer guides will meet you at the hotel lobby/reception or the designated meeting point at the scheduled time.
- Guides will be easily identifiable by their orange-sleeved white t-shirts, with Aliança's name written on the t-shirt, and carrying orange flags.
- We always recommend that you arrive at least 10 minutes early in the hotel lobby/reception or meeting point so that when your transfer arrives you are ready to board.
- Because it is divided into routes, the transfer can be a few minutes late, without affecting the arrival time at the Sambadrome.
- You must wear the transfer badge you will receive together with your tickets to board on the way to and back from the Sambadrome. The loss or damage of the badge may cause you to be denied boarding.
- Returning from the Sambadrome: After each samba school parade, there will be a transfer available to take you back to the same hotel or place where you originally boarded. When inside the Sambadrome, please proceed to the designated meeting point that was agreed upon with the transfer guide and carefully follow their instructions. It's important to note that the end of the last samba school parade is a particularly busy time for transfer departures. The last transfer will leave 30 minutes after the parades conclude. Therefore, if you wish to stay until the very end, make sure to head directly to the meeting point as soon as the last samba school finishes performing in your sector. Please be aware that the transfer will not wait for latecomers and cannot be held responsible for anyone who misses the final departure time. No refunds will be provided under any circumstances if customers fail to comply with the instructions outlined in these terms or if they miss their scheduled transfer.
Final Policies to Consider
Refunds of hotel/travel packages: Unused hotel reservations and tours may be refundable under certain circumstances and policies beyond our control. All requests for refunds must be made by email no later than 45 days prior to travel. Refund policies can vary by hotel and/or service provider. Some hotels may apply special conditions in addition to normal policies, such as the mandatory minimum stay or non-refundable prepayment, as this is a special Carnival period.
Travel Insurance: Important: Bookers International recommends all travelers consider buying Travel Insurance. In times of Covid-19, it’s a wise decision to purchase some form of travel insurance before your trip.
At Bookers International we recommend ASSIST-CARD. They are one of the largest travel insurance companies and they provide round-the-clock travel assistance. There is an enhanced cancellation benefit.
To get information on the different insurance product packages available to you through ASSIST-CARD, please ask for a FREE insurance quote for your trip.
Exclusions: Prices do not include gratuities and meals, except where otherwise noted by ‘included’. Nor do they include telephone calls, other personal or incidental items or any other features not listed in your package.
City Tax: Some hotels may charge City Taxes of approximately US$3 per day per room. 4 and 5-star hotels normally charge US$3 dollars per day per room while 2 and 3-star hotels charge US$1 for the same period. These taxes cannot be collected outside Brazil. The taxes will be included in your hotel charges and will be payable to the hotel upon checkout.
Final Payment: Full payment is due 60 days prior to the date of check-in or the provision services date. All packages are subject to price and availability changes until paid in full. Hotel vouchers will be sent only when full payment has been received.
Travel package Revisions and Cancellations: If the customer needs to change their travel plans after booking, certain restrictions may apply. Cancellations, changes, and refunds vary by hotel and tour and transfer provider policies. Some special periods, such as Carnival, have different policies.
Documents: A valid Passport will be required for international travel. According to the new VISA law, US, Canadian, Japanese, and Australian citizens can visit Brazil without a VISA. For more information, we recommend you contact the Brazilian embassy: http://www.itamaraty.gov.br/en/. It is the sole responsibility of the passenger to obtain visas independently. Please consult with the respective country’s embassy and or consulate.
Responsibility: BookersInternational.com and its authorized representatives act only as agents for the passengers in all matters pertaining to travel by air or surface. They shall not be or become liable for any loss, injury or damage or delay to person, property, or otherwise in connection with any accommodations, transportation, or other services referred to in this brochure resulting directly or indirectly from acts of nature, dangers at sea, fire, machinery or equipment breakdown, sickness, epidemics, quarantine, medical or customs regulations, pilferage, labor disputes, strikes, riots, thefts, government restraints, hostilities, civil disturbances, acts of terrorism of any kind, wars whether declared or not, losses or delays or additional expenses resulting from insufficient or improperly issued passports and or visas and other documents, or from any other causes beyond BookersInternational.com.
The tickets, coupons, tariffs, rules, or contracts currently in use by any carrier, hotel, restaurant, or other contractor rendering services shall constitute the sole contract between such contractor and the tour member. No carrier shall be responsible for any act, omission, or event during the time passengers are not on board its own conveyance. The right is reserved to cancel or change itineraries or substitute services without notice and to decline, accept, or retain any participant as a member of these tours at any time. The right is reserved until the time of departure to change the rates and fares referred to in this brochure without prior notification due to changes in current tariffs, the fluctuation due to changes in current tariffs, fluctuation of exchange rates, or fuel surcharges.
All disputes and matters shall be litigated, if at all, in and before a court located in Miami, to the exclusion of the courts of any other city, county, or state. The issuance and acceptance of tickets and or other documents in connection with a service provided by BookersInternational.com is considered acceptance of the above terms.
Final Terms: Customer Service is provided in Portuguese, English, and Spanish. Requests in any other language may not be considered.
Processing any email may take up to 2 business days. Requests and emails sent on weekends and holidays will only be answered on the second business day after receipt, except for the Carnival period.
Bookers kindly requests that all customers sign a receipt upon receiving their tickets and/or costumes. If the payment was made by credit card, customers will be asked to sign a confirmation of the charge authorization on the credit card used, verifying the charge. This process will take place after customers have arrived in Rio de Janeiro and pertains to the agreed-upon amount for their online purchases. Please note that only the cardholder is authorized to sign the credit authorization receipt. In the event that the cardholder is not present, the Third-Party procedure must be followed.
For payments by wire transfer, bank deposit, PayPal account, or Western Union, the purchaser registered on our website will be responsible for signing the receipt.
